Ricky Fernandes, Founder and CEO of Say Yes to the Cocktail® (He/Him)

Ricky Fernandes holds an MBA from University of Rhode Island and brings over 16 years of experience in the culinary arts and a passion for mixology to his role as Founder and CEO of Say Yes to the Cocktail®. Certified in TIPs, ServeSafe, and Mixology by "A Bar Above," Ricky leads a team with more than 35 years of combined expertise, all dedicated to delivering exceptional cocktail experiences.

Say Yes to the Cocktail® was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic after Ricky’s personal battle with lymphoma. What began as a virtual mixology service providing guests with cocktail education in their own homes has since grown to include in-person workshops and mobile bartending services, offering elevated, custom experiences. Ricky’s goal is to empower people to make great cocktails at home and provide unique, high-quality service for private events. He believes every cocktail should reflect the client’s personality and vision, and he strives to make each experience fun, educational, and unforgettable.

Ricky’s passion for mixology shines through in his love for classic cocktails, particularly those from the Pre- Prohibition and Prohibition eras. He believes "What is old is new again." and loves modernizing these forgotten drinks and introducing guests to them. Ricky enjoys watching people discover a new favorite cocktail, and he takes pride in teaching others the art of cocktail creation.

Known for his warm, engaging personality, Ricky ensures that every guest feels welcomed and enjoys their time, whether they are at a workshop or attending/hosting a private event.
